Join Elisabeth and course pianist John Alley for a four day intensive course exploring the development of the flute and its repertoire over time. Each day will start with a technique class, followed by a play-and-learn session on each of Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and French repertoire. Each play-and-learn session will be followed by an open masterclass related to the topic of the day. Students can perform and receive feedback, and will have the opportunity to play their pieces with accompaniment backing tracks specially recorded for them by John. John will also contribute to the masterclass sessions, and the emphasis from both tutors will be on a warm and supportive performing and learning environment. Each participant will also receive an individual lesson, and every day will conclude with a Q&A session.
Places are strictly limited to ensure many opportunities for lessons, performance, questions and feedback.
